Drawing for Prizes!

As most of you are aware, JP’s Car Show is sneaking up on us! August 26^th is fast approaching, and we want to hear from you! We are going to do a drawing for prizes at the event and we are ever so grateful to the companies and people that have already answered the call so far for donations as prizes. (Apparently, raffles are considered gambling and are, in fact, illegal in the state of Utah. Who knew? We didn’t, so we changed it to a drawing.) We are still looking for a few more willing parties to donate so that we can make this event an absolute success and hit, so if you, your business, or someone you know might be interested, please reach out to us.

All monetary donations made at the show will go to the Operation Zero- Veteran Suicide Prevention, PCR non-profit organization. 100% of it. Operation Zero has a mission that we at JP’s whole-heartedly support and align with. They assist in the mission to give back to and save the lives of those who have sworn to protect us. Something that most people may not understand about veterans is that minimal resources exist to help them transition back into a civilian life after their service. Many of them struggle. Many of them, myself once included, don’t know how to go from being a trained military service member back to the way they were before. Service changes you, and you cannot simply just turn that off.

We are aware that we have been discussing the Car Show quite a bit lately, but this is because we really want to help effect change and be a part of the solution to a serious problem. Most of you have heard that we lose an estimated 22 veterans to suicide per day. Those numbers are on the rise, and we are not going to sit quietly and watch it happen. Something must be done. We owe it to those who have served our country to take care of them afterward. Every cent counts, every life counts. Please find it in your hearts to donate what you can, whether services or products to the drawing, a monetary contribution to the charity, or simply tell a friend about the car show and show up in support. The effort or contribution doesn’t have to be about money. If you can’t spare change, please spread the word and come join us for a day of beautiful cars, fun, prizes, food, and great company!
