As with any big project, time is a requirement. You don’t cut corners, you don’t rush, and you take the time necessary to do things the right way the first time. We have been working away at the elaborate puzzle that is this Revolution RV, and even though it has taken a chunk of time, we finally got the slide out repaired and back on! Sounds simple, right? Why did it take us that long, you ask?
Before the slide out could be reattached, there were many things that had to be done prior in order to ensure the safety and functionality of the structure. The support frames had to be built or straightened, wiring harnesses replaced or fixed, and the newly fabricated parts needed to be lined up and made compatible with each other. Adjustments, both large and small, have been made and will continue to be made over the next few weeks. (And let’s not forget the ordered parts lag-time and accessibility!)
Once we finish with the body, the vehicle will move to paint and the exterior will be completed!
Yes, we are taking our time over here on this project, but when it is finished, you will be able to see the detailed process, from start to finish, wreck to “wow”! We are excited to document and share with you the process, so stay tuned for further updates!
One last note: We have begun the early planning stages of the 2019 Car Show. As previously mentioned, the proceeds of this year’s event will go to The Utah Humane Society, benefitting our furry friends. If anyone has radio station connections, or knows of a stellar food truck, please reach out to us. We aim to make this year’s event even bigger than last year, so mark your calendars for Sunday, August 25th!
